Brandon Beckham is a small business owner, an avid participant in local sports, a dog lover, and has lived most of his life in Senate District 23. Brandon brings a strong passion for defending liberty, the courage to fight for what’s right, and fresh leadership that focuses on action. Brandon has a proven record of working with others on issues important to Utahns, standing up against federal overreach, and preserving our Constitution.

In 2002, Brandon chose to serve a two-year mission for his church in Mozambique, Africa.  While there he assisted commissioning a new area that wasn’t officially open until two years later. Coupled with the Eagle Scout award received years earlier, Brandon cultivated his leadership skills on his mission. He has successfully forged a reputation of honesty and integrity in his church, civic, and social activities. Following his full-time mission, Brandon returned to Africa to serve in humanitarian efforts, benefiting and mentoring students. These efforts helped establish a national digital archive for the country of Namibia.

After completing  film school in 2007, Brandon created  a successful media production company. He honed his skills working on multiple aspects in the industry, both as a talent and a producer.  Brandon has produced and directed major productions for businesses, organizations, entertainers, and political leaders. His directorial skills were recognized when he won the coveted “Filmed In Utah Award” for best music video  He was the Director of Nathan Osmond’s “Stars & Stripes” which is dedicated to U.S. military families.

Brandon’s academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University in Washington, DC. During his time in our nation’s capital, Brandon served as a Scout Master and interned with the Federal Judicial Center under the U.S. Supreme Court and at the Congressional office of Rep. Kay Granger (R-TX).

In his university studies, Brandon earned two undergraduate degrees at Utah Valley University: a Bachelor’s of Science in Digital Media and a Bachelor’s of Arts in American Government with a Minor in Constitutional Studies. During his time at the university  Brandon volunteered his time and expertise at the UVU Center for Constitutional Studies. His passion for America's founding fathers governing charter inspired him to pursue additional studies on the Constitution at the Thomas Jefferson Center and Hillsdale College.


Brandon has a strong passion and a pragmatic vision of state and national welfare. In 2009, he founded “Restoration of America,” a non-profit group, promoting constitutional education. Brandon has served as a Republican state and county delegate four times, served as Precinct Chair twice, and served three times as a member of the Utah GOP State Central Committee for District 15 (now 23). 

In an effort to help good people get elected into public office, Brandon has volunteered and consulted for many conservative political candidates. His consulting activities include senatorial, congressional, gubernatorial, and several state legislative and municipal races. Brandon has also organized and directed statewide issue-based campaigns that positively impact Utah, including the 2018 successful campaign, as director, of “Keep My Voice,” that halted Count My Vote’s multi-million dollar effort in dismantling Utah’s neighborhood caucuses. 

Recently, Brandon passed a resolution in the Utah Republican Party, calling for legislation to prohibit CRT in Utah. Brandon also organized “The Utah Forum on Critical Race Theory,” attended by almost a thousand people, and produced a documentary film on CRT with a focus on Utah to help better inform parents and support the right policy changes to protect our children. Brandon welcomes challenges. He has been a successful leader time and again on issues that matter to Utahns. He believes that strong leadership means more than just words; he knows it takes skilled action to get things done. Brandon is committed to leveraging his leadership abilities to raise the bar in the Utah Senate.
